If you are into
sad political songs, then this be exactly your thing. It has some really deep
lyrics, and the instruments include multiple reverbed electric guitars and a
bass which give the song it’s sad and quiet vibe.
Lyrics:
The
ferry station’s closed no more boats to take us home
And I’m already here I’m standing by the peer
And I look at my dad he is looking sad
He doesn’t know what else to do I’m standing in his shoes
He’s thinking I’m alone
Cause this ain’t easy for us
Cause this ain’t easy nor is it just
And migrants cross the seas hoping they’ll be free
Hoping they’ll reach land away from old, old sands
Now the boat is sinking I don’t know what we’re thinking
Why won’t we even help listen to their screams
They’re thinking they’re alone
Please help
Cause this ain’t easy for them
Cause this ain’t easy no it’s unjust
It’s unjust, it’s unjust
It’s unfair, it’s unfair
Just think what you’d do in their shoes
